Very sturdy and I feel like my phone is going to survive anything - which is the point. The downside? There's only one... People can't hear me very well. And you can forget being able to use speakerphone. It might not necessarily be a problem for you, but as a mum of four I will often chat whilst I'm cooking but now I can't do that. If you want to watch TV etc your sound will be tinny and dampened.Update: had it about six months now. Phone has survived well, no cracks. Even with four kids around. And I have discovered that the back peels out very easily from its train track clips. So... If I want to use speaker phone to talk I just peel the bottom up. Seems to be working okay.
