I have requirements for my cake mixes: The cakes can't be too dry, they can't be too fluffy, they can't be too moist. All that screams BOX CAKE! If I didn't make it from scratch, at least people can think I did. With Pillsbury Devil's Food Cake Mix, wonder they will. Did she make it herself? I baked a batch of cupcakes for the kids and a cake for my husband on our anniversary. All proclaimed it was delicious. I must admit, it was pretty good. Not too dry, not too fluffy, not too moist.

Plastic !!!!!!!!
I needed a cake in a hurry tonight for dessert! When I opened the box, I was shocked to see the ingredients! Little, tiny, redish, brown granules of.......something! Chemicals! ! ? Doesn't even resemble dry ingredients in any way, shape or form! Needless to say, the cake mix went in the trash! Dusted off my cookbook and mixer and found a recipe for chocolate cake. They can keep their chemicals!
