3M Safety 142-6900 Safety Reusable Full Face Mask Respirator, Dark Grey, Large

This mask is great. I had a lengthy project to do, and I've struggled with finding a goggle and respirator mask combination that works well together. I've used 3M and other nose/mouth masks, and they work great. However, I've not had great luck finding goggles that don't fog up (particularly when paired with a face/nose mask. I had considered purchasing a full face respirator before, but was put off by the cost. I am happy to report that after taking the plunge, I am extremely happy with my decision! Once I put this on and started working, it didn't fog up at all. In fact, after a couple of minutes I didn't even think about having it on. I just wish I had purchased one earlier! I used it with the 3M P100 filters and had no issues with breathing, even under some exertion. Note: Be sure to get the size that fits your face. I accidentally got the 6800, which is a Medium and had to return it because I thought it would be too small. I changed to the 6900 (a Large) and it fit great.

You can actually see what your cutting. I use this to cut concrete with a 16” Hilti cutoff saw. I can easily see my line while not breathing in a toxic soup of silica and god knows what else. If you want to get the most millage get the pre filter dust catcher. Those little pads prevent dust from building up on main particulate/vapor filter. This is by far the most bang for the buck! A state of the art design for just over a hundred bucks! Idk about you but $100-$200 is worth not hocking up lugis of dust and grime in the shower when you get home. Your health is worth it. Your eyes are priceless you only get 2.

This fits nice and snug you can see really well out of it and the air filtration is excellent. It’s one of the best face shields that I’ve ever gotten.

Mask works well to keep dust out of the eyes and lungs. I’d recommend it for anyone not wanting wear glasses with a mask. My only issue was with the shipping. Package was shipped in product packaging with no tape to keep the box closed. A shipping label was just thrown on and it was sent out. The mask isn’t cheap and it would have been nice if it was handled as such.

I have tried four other versions of these masks, hoping to find an alternative that will do the job for me. I'm sanding wood and need something to protect against breathing too much dust while keeping the dust out of my eyes. Unfortunately I also need to see very well to make sure I'm sanding properly. Masks that have "funhouse mirror" glass in them will not work. Masks that fog up constantly won't work. I finally bit the bullet and bought this "real 3M" mask and it works great! I can see very well and no problems with fogging. Thank you!!

Very happy I purchased this mask. I’m a general contractor and end up cutting and grinding concrete all the time. I didn’t know what I was putting up with before I had this mask. It’s comfortable enough to wear for an hour or two at a time and never fogs up. Definitely worth the money if you’re in this business.

Visibility 50' at times, forest fire smoke thick, difficult to breath, eyes painfully burning from the smoke. This mask, with proper cartridges, is a life saver. Must be clean shaven to properly seal. Seller might require signature when delivered, beware, there is no notification of this, buyers should be notified. Used it today in the laboratory (my reaction generates HCl gas) and it worked perfectly well. Good seal, doesn’t fog up easily, and i never caught a whiff of the acid fumes. It is also easy to adjust. Very happy with this mask.
