Nice treat for the dog. They are quite smelly to the human nose. Takes my dog five minutes to chew through one piece.

My 4 month old chihuahua mix puppy is absolutely enamored with this treat! She is in the midst of losing her baby teeth so she is a teething nightmare. They do smell fishy but it’s not that bad compared to other dried fish products. I just make sure to brush her teeth afterward lol.Anyway this keeps her occupied for 2-3 hrs. She will just gnaw away at it next to me happily. It’s very tough but not dangerous or sharp. I wanted to figure out a way to cut it in half since my puppy is small (only 6.5 lbs) but I couldn’t for the life of me cut it with a scissors or knife. I tried snapping in half but it would just fold and not tear. So I’ll just give her the whole thing and take away if I notice she’s getting full. But at the same time it’s just fish skin and not an actual whole fish. It seems big but when it all melts and digests it’s probably not that big of a portion if you think about it.

Yes they’re stinky but they’re healthy and long lasting.

These seem like quality treats, but I think they are better for larger dogs. They are long and cannot be cut into smaller pieces as they are tough. I am attaching a picture of my cockapoo who is 30 pounds. He has been chewing on it for around 20 minutes and hasn’t made a dent in it. lol. If you have a larger dog or one that likes to chew this is perfect and healthy.

My dog loves these chews. Lasts about 10 minutes (for a 50 lb golden retriever moderate chewer). The only downside is because it goes by weight, the number of chews vary per bag (had 4 in one bag, 7 in another, averages 5 per bag). Would recommend waiting for sale prices as it can get costly.

I love the idea of these chews, but they are not quite what I expected. When first opening the package, there is an obvious fish odor, yes as expected. Their texture is quite hard though not as brittle as I thought they would be, making them hard to break into smaller pieces for my small dogs. Zoey was not real interested in them other than teasing Rose because she had a treat. Rose initially went bananas over them. Rose sniffed it, rolled on it, sniffed it again and rolled some more. She finally gave it a few chews, but not for more than a minute or two. I have tried them several times and the response is pretty much the same. Since neither of my pets found them interesting enough to finish even one, I would not purchase again.

My dog is addicted but very expensive!

For my small 4 lb puppy it’s a 5 star. It keeps him entertained for awhile, it smells really strong of fish but I personally don’t mind it at all. On the other hand, my other dog who is about 50 lb, she chewed through it in seconds.
