Did a LOT of research and really was unimpressed with almost all new jackets out there. Until I found this one. No where to try on in stores (as usual) but did my research, which sadly did not include any reviews as there doesn't seem to be any, on any website. Hmmmm. Well, I bought it on a whim thinking it would be the holy grail, especially at almost half price and actually looked cool. Well, it is not up to par. All the adjustments are nothing more than a nuisance. They don't work. The anti-fog ventilation flap on the collar is stupid looking and just gets in the way of zipping up, if you use it, you can/t zip the jacket, if you don't, it just hangs awkwardly tickling your chin. When collar is unzipped it just hangs there all flappy and useless. The cuff gaiters are WAY too long and quite annoying. The cuffs are oversized and when you adjust them with the hokey Velcro, they bunch up an unsightly amount which doesn't go with the overall slimmer fit of the jacket. The phone leash would be cool if it worked, however it makes the phone go crazy thinking you're touching the whole area the rubber crosses. The hand pockets are quite small and hard to use without gloves on, but with gloves you couldn't put anything in or take out easily. The tiny stiffly lined pocket on the chest seems to have no purpose other than being an opening to let snow or rain in. Really cannot figure out what purpose it has.... One good thing is it does look nice, Laying down on a table..... Fabric seems good, design not so much.Update. As of 1 month of wearing. I wore it on the slopes on a very wet day. Kept me dry inside however I have discovered the DWR is not good. Jacket was soaked before getting on the lift. Two other days of wearing in the rain and the same problem. My jacket was wet walking one block to my car. I guess I'll need to use an aftermarket treatment to make it work. I cut out the phone leash and useless pocket adjustments. Also use a couple small strong magnets to keep the flappy flap in place away from my chin. Jacket also wrinkles easily and for some reason looks like it has a belly button. The stitching is off a bit and causes a little inward pooch.
