I know CAT7 is way overkill but I thought what the heck. These cables are really nice! They have a nice braided jacket and fell very sturdy. Again I know these are overkill but at that price they are well worth it. I bought (2) of the 6' 2 pack and I liked them so much, I just ordered one one. Great cable, Great price. In the pic you can see that I just tacked it up with monoprice circle cable clips. It was quick & easy. The cable is flat but still fits in the clips. I wanted to run the cable from my router/modem in the bedroom out to my Roku in family room. I needed a quick easy way to run the cable without causing damage to the walls because Iā€™m renting. This was a shoddy wiring job, but my leg is broken so this will do for now. I thought this would help with the buffering & dropping of my internet while streaming, but apparently cox cable needs improvement in my area. The installer did a really terrible job. as you see by the picture my speeds were definitely not even close to the 100/100 I paid for. And of course Verizon being Verizon blamed my router, or the fact that I was not connected to the router by ethernet and a computer! In my previous house I got my speeds with the same router no problem. This new house....no way! I knew that the technician messed up the ethernet cable that ran from the ONT outside to my router in the house. This cable proves that. With this cable I jumped from 50 MB Down to 71! Still not typical FIOS speed but much better. What I also like about this cable is I was able to run it through my window. Rather than having to make another hole in my siding or my wall. The flexibility allowed me to just run it through the bottom of the window directly to the router and my speed is much better.
