How to remove sticky stuff from cat’s fur??

OMG! I know the answer to this. I yanked off the fly strip and got out my lighter fluid. I wiped my cats tail down with the lighter fluid, wiped off the excess and then washed his tail with some mild shampoo, rinsed and dried off his tail. This was about 10 days ago and he had no reaction. Just make sure you get all the lighter fluid off. Could be a two person job depending on the cat! May the force be with you!

Will it work with mosquitos?

It might, it didn't work with our flies, but caught some gnats.

Does this work for blow flies?

Seems to work on all flying insects. I have a insect zoo on some of these.

Might it work(better?) on moths, which are attracted to light(the yellow color)?

Not sure I just use them in the house. They keep the fruit flys and mites off my plants. Work great and last a long time..
