I have 2 LEF lights that use this charging port, make keeping them charged up for use. Works nice!

Excellent additional charging cable - perfect to charge my neck lights and actually better length and strength than the original.

Note - I have never even tried to use this cable fore data and as a tech who is uncertain of the wiring in this thing I don't recommend using it for that. I bought this for one purpose - charging my phone in the car and hanging my Bluetooth headset off of the other connection when it needs a charge. This works out great. They never get separated that way, I still have the other port on my charger available if a friend or relative is with me, there's less wires in my vehicle and it's all in reach. If I were to change one thing about it - because I'm a tech and I think this way - I would make one connector red with only the power pins connected and the other one black or some other color to designate this one could be used for data. I would NOT make it with both heads even capable of doing data. Guess I could draw up the plans for that and send them to China to have custom ones made for myself and sell them that way to everyone else, just too much hassle. I'm a tech, I could build one for myself, same story, this is cheaper and easier and as long as I keep that in mind it's fine.

It did what it was intended for. I used it to charge 2 ps4 controllers with one usb port since the other one was being used by external storage. However, it didnt last a year and one charging cable is no longer charging. Still using the other one tho. I would have liked where it was split to have been longer, I had to place the controllers very close to each other bacause where it split only left maybe 3 inches of cord.

Purchased to charge both wearable breast pumps at the same time. Charges fast & it’s convenient that I only have to use one outlet!

The splitter is great, I like the ability to be able to charge more than one device at a time. The product quality is great, if there is any drawback at all it is that the legs after the split are a little short and don't provide a whole lot of separation for the devices being charged. It's okay for 2 phones, but if I want to charge a tablet they would need to be on top of each other

I thought this was perfect to charge both my devices in car at the same time- Maybe my hopes were too high, but didnt think it would fail on me so quick. I have a blackberry and droid that i try to charge, and on the blackberry, it always thinks its trying to transfer data when its not, which doesnt happen with any of my other chargers. Unfortunately after maybe 2 months or so if use, one of the tips on one side became lose and clearly doesnt work anymore, which defeats the purpose of having a splitter in the first place. Now makes me apprehensive about even ordering another one or not?

The concept of this splitter is great. And it works very well. The reason I only gave it three stars is because I found the cable after the split to be too short. From the split to the micro connection only about 2 1/2 or 3 inches. That means your devices need to be setting very close together. Many times I would like to plug my phone in and leave it on the desk and be able to use my Kindle while it is plugged in also. Because of the length of the cable that is difficult. If the split was 2 to 3 inches from the USB connection, this would be a six star product.

[Update June 2015] I'm increasing the stars to 4 (from 3) as although the tails are still most definitely too short, the cable worked amazingly well whilst trekking through Sri Lanka allowing me to charge both tablet and phone from one USB socket. I placed the phone on top of the tablet overnight and in the morning both were fully charged. The tails were long enough for this as long as I didn't forget and try and pick up still-attached phone! [End Update] This cable certainly allows charging of two devices, simultaneously if so desired. The best thing is that you don't have to constantly unplug one item (like the docking station for my Nexus 7) just to charge my phone. As someone else pointed out this cable only works if the two items are more or less on top of each other as the split cable 'tails' are far too short to use seriously. It got so annoying that I gave up an went back to two individual chargers plugged into the same 13A socket. So the cable is 'OK' inasmuch that it works but why, oh why, did they make the tails so short?

It's okay and a clever idea, utility it does only charge at half the rate of a single Cable!

Its great, it works.. and the cable doesn't appear to be the really cheap stuff. If i had to gripe about something i would say that the tails for the micro USB are too short. if you have one end going into a table stand-charger then this only leaves a tiny amount available for the other device. apart from that its all good :)
