Buy Neural Network Projects with Python: The ultimate guide to using Python to explore the true power of neural networks through six projects by Loy, James (ISBN: 9781789138900) from desertcart's Book Store. Everyday low prices and free delivery on eligible orders. Review: Phenomenal - I normally don't write reviews for books but i had to do for this one. I read it over a weekend. it was brilliant, with code guiding he reader through interesting examples with data science problems on both structured and unstructured data solved using deep learning. The author does a great job educating the reader on real world experience dealing with data. If the Chollet book is a bible for Keras, this is its essential companion! Review: References to explanatory coloured hightlights when the book is printed in black and white - This is a good book. The descriptions are clear and I have gained a good basic understanding of neural networks and their various forms. There are a couple of faults: First, the Tensorflow and Keras interfaces have moved on since the book was written. I've received a number of warnings that certain calls are "depreciated". Unless you're prepared to read through the latest Tensorflow, Keras, etc API descriptions on the web, you won't get the example code to run. Second, throughout the book, there are references to items "circled in red" or text that is "highlighted". Sadly the book is printed in greyscale only, so the "red" circles look much like the ither circles on the page and the highlighted words (on p201 for example) cannot be seen. Great writing spoilt by, I suppose, a cheapskate publisher who can't be bothered to print in colour. The first problem I can live with. The second is just awful and costs 2 stars in terms of the review.

Very efficient read, you will know what types of neural networks exist and how to use existing methods. This book will not teach you how to do the research for your own custom neural network methods, but that is quite unnecessary most of the time. This book does a very good job in staying on the high level logic, instead of getting lost in mathematical details.

Very Good Book for people who want to go deeper into the concept. But, you need to have prior programming skills in python, just the basics as the book explains each line of code pretty well. Dont pay any money to learn python, just learn it on youtube it will be sufficient.

Author does an excellent job of covering key topics in ML that most beginners should be able to grasp. The projects are clear, simply explained, and fun to tinker with on your laptop. The book really doesnโt go into the math that ML academics/researchers thrive on, but it introduces engineers and hobbyists to APIs and ML processes that can be used on countless other projects. Iโd certainly recommend this book for anyone starting their journey into the ML field

Well paced Excellent descriptions Excellent place to get started with machine learning While older now, it gives you a great start

A very good text book on neural net. The book supplements with some of the real life problems and its implementation with detailed explanation. Most of the case studies are taken from Kaggle. Highly recommended
