**Q: Where is this packed?  (Not distributed by.)**
A: At Blue Harbor Fish Co., we can our products as close to the source as possible. Currently, our tuna is packed and canned in America Samoa. Because America Samoa is a territory of the United States, we are not required to state country of origin on our label. According to current Federal regulations, only products that are produced outside of the U.S. or one of its territories are required to list the country of origin. If a product does not specifically state the country of origin, you can assume it has been produced in the United States or a U.S. territory.Still the most densely packed tuna I have ever seen/consumed.The only tuna I have ever seen that is sodium free (no added sodium at all).100% line caught in the South Pacific and certified by MSC(Marine Seafood Council) to be traceable back to the ship/vessel that caught it.

**Q: Where is this tuna caught and processed?**
A: Blue Harbor is a South Korean owned company who also own Starkist , it is processed and packed in Ecukador & American Samoa, a US territory.  The Tuna is caught by Chinese fisherman using long lines.

**Q: Is this tuna mercury tested?**
A: Not certain as it's not labeled w/this info.  At any rate, having lived in Maine (on the shore for 48 yrs where we survived on seafood & fish) & on the Treasure Coast of FL as fisherman of Snook & Pompamo for 23 yrs.. it's the BEST tuna we have ever consumed.  Just both our opinions at 70 & 72 yrs old.  Try it...guaranteed, it's a lovely delicacy.  😊

**Q: is this as good as wild planet tune?**
A: Wild Planet was the only albacore tuna I bought until it disappeared from store shelves. I am happy to have found Blue Harbor and say yes, it's as good as Wild Planet was.

Oh, my gosh, this tuna is amazing. It is almost a whole solid tuna with the perfect texture. It is easy to open and use, and a healthy choice for my diet. I have ordered it many times. I haven't looked at the salt amount but it doesn't seem salty to me.
