We just plug it in when we hop in the car and pair a phone with it. We personally use spotify for the music just because it is easy! Hubby has his own playlist and I have my own so we can pick and chose what we want to hear. Cons: if you are traveling in a small town or out in the country, or even simply drive under some tall trees, it may make it act a little funny at times. The songs will seem to skip, like a CD or record would if scratched.
