I first bought these on a whim when I saw them in the check out area of Whole Foods. I was very pleased with them--the chocolate/coffee combination is delicious, and as I only eat 2 at a time, I'm not consuming the "full dose" but still feel like I get a little lift of energy from them.After this serendipitous find, every time I went to Whole Foods, I bought a few (there is not a WF near me, so this was a rare treat). Then, HAPPY DAY, they showed up at my local Wegman's and each week, I bought a couple (note: the packs bought in retail are much smaller than the one offered here--maybe 8 candies per package). HORRORS, one day they were on massive, massive sale. While I happily scooped by some 20 or more packs, I knew this was because Wegman's was discontinuing them.So, as my reserves dwindled, I looked on Amazon & decided to buy a package here. It arrived in good shape BUT in a HUGE box with a big cool pack. I was horrified at the waste involved here, even though I have put the cool pack in my freezer and will certainly re-use it. This brings me to my only criticism of the candies--while they look like large, round M&Ms they do MELT. I learned this disagreeable fact one day recently when I had put two in my jeans pocket. I reached into that pocket while in the grocery store, only to feel a wad of ...something. gooey... (I had forgotten about the candies). I pulled out the melted candy and that's when I realized that they are sensitive to heat.If I order them again, I'll wait until winter, when the cool pack and MASSIVE box to accommodate it won't be necessary.

The first day when I took one of these candies, it was great! The second day when I took two in the morning and two in the afternoon well that wasn't so great. The third day I took two in the morning and I really wasn't feeling like myself and I realized that it was these good day caffeine chocolates. I wrote to the company and asked that my order be canceled.(I had bought and used a small package from Whole Foods and then ordered it on Amazon.) Now that I have the full jar that arrived today, I get to pour it in the trash.

These taste great! Dark chocolate with no bad aftertaste or gritty texture. Not a huge difference in energy level when I take them.

These are a very tasty way to get some caffeine and vitamins. I love this product! The seller goes above and beyond to ensure that the chocolates are packaged in a way that they arrive undamaged.
