The material is quite soft.. useing the entrance at the head end, the pole in the middle makes it hard for a adult to get in, therse no room to swing your leggs in, due to the zip only going as far as the middle pole.. also if you use the foot end side doors as an adult it's sketchy, trying to get in and move up the bed, then turn to sit up, back down the bed, zip up, back up the bed.
