Turns out the plastic was still stuck to the bottom, make sure you remove before use! Now the mouse just glides on my mousepad. I noticed that there is another review, which said the pad is easy to scratch and not smooth as original one. However, I wish to say, you must peel off the additional film protector on the pad, then you will get a very smooth pad.
