This one worked great. At first, I was really confused about how many 6V lantern batteries all had only one spring. It took my partner who has a degree in electrical engineering to tell me that the black cap is only a cap on it to prevent the battery from shorting out before it's in use. Now that I was putting it into a flashlight, I was supposed to take off the cap. Indeed, it came off with no problems. The flashlight now works again. It's good to have a flashlight. Cons: The battery had a tiny crack in the side. I asked my partner, "Is this going to leak battery acid?" The answer is no. The casing is there to prevent water from getting in, so as long as I know the flashlight will be away from water at all times, it's ok. I still taped it shut just to be sure. Review: Great Price - Going on a camping trip and I realized the battery in my big ol flashlight was out. Ordered this and it came the next day. The flashlight works great and is ready for the camping weekend!!! ## Features - Built to exceed performance demands of industrial applications - Mercury and Cadmium Free - Guaranteed against leakage - Environmentally safe - meets EPA requirements for landfill disposal ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0000AY86P | | Antenna Location | Household Use | | Battery Capacity | 6 volts | | Battery Cell Composition | Other Than Listed | | Battery Cell Type | Other Than Listed | | Battery Weight | 1 g | | Best Sellers Rank | #257,336 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #203 in 6V Batteries #15,831 in 12V Batteries | | Brand | Rayovac | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 119 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00012800223435 | | Included Components | Battery Pack | | Item Dimensions | 4.6 x 2.6 x 2.6 inches | | Item Type Name | ACCESSORIES | | Manufacturer | Rayovac | | Model Name | ROV 944.01 ZC LANTERN BATTERY | | Model Number | 944R | | Number of Batteries | 1 Product Specific batteries required.
