This was my first venture into using this type of kit to maintain the proper water balance in my above ground pool. I have been using pool strips for many years and was a little reluctant to use this type of kit as it seemed more complicated and time consuming. I had an issue that made me doubt my strips so I purchased this to determine whether or not I had a problem. It turned out to be very easy to use, with very clear instructions, precise, and included a nice pool maintenance booklet as well. It was not all that time consuming and gave me peace of mind on my readings. I became very skilled with it very quickly. This kit gave me the basic things I needed to test the chlorine, pH and Alkalinity and helped determine the proper amount of chemicals to put in the pool. I would recommend it.

The testing reagents have kept my pool chemistry in range quite nicely. I do the pH, chlorine, and total alkalinity every day. Cyanuric acid once a week. Calcium twice a month.

I only have 1 small complaint and it may be user error, the cya tube can easily get damaged if you do not put it back exactly how it came. It works great, all the readings seem to be correct, and there is a decent amount of testing liquids. The cya test liquid could use more but I understand why they can only give you so much. It is a great value compared to the number of test is does. It is very fast and easy to use/read.

I purchase this test kit each year for my pool. Very easy to use. Provides results for just about everything you need to keep your pool water clear. Good value for the cost. I replace the liquid testing chemicals each year. very accurate.

I have used Taylor pool chemical test kits for more than 15 years. It takes time to count the drops, mix and compare colors to a chart but you obtain accurate results. If you care about your pool's health it is the way to go. The strips are quick and easy which is why many professional pool techs use them. But they are not precise. I have used them in a hurry but but you get only a general idea of the actual numerical result.

Was using test strips (tried several different brads) to monitor the water chemistry in our spa. I knew something was wrong as the strips never showed a change from day to day. Bought this and my suspicion was confirmed. The chemistry was so screwed up, i ended up draining and refilling. Now I'm getting readings that make sense and the spa water looks and feels great.

It can appear intimidating to a beginner, but after using this kit for a couple weeks I love how easy it is to follow the instructions to diagnose pool chemical levels. I pair this up with an app to then help me figure out what I need to add, to even out my levels.

Item was sold as next day delivery. After I purchased it, the delivery changed to over a week and it was shipped USPS ground. It took 8 days to be delivered. I was opening a pool and needed it next day, so I had to buy a kit locally. The seller, Pools”N”Tools, told me to go through Amazon to return it with a non prepaid label and they would refund the amount plus the freight. You can’t do that through Amazon. When I told them that, they said there would be a restock fee to return it. They lied about the delivery time and about returning it.

Very professional and easy to follow. As advertised. I bought because I am migrating to using household chemicals rather than branded chemicals from the hot tub store, and didn't want to rely on test strips; so far my water balance is improved, and this kit will pay for itself in chemical savings.

Excellent test kit. Kept the water crystal clear all summer. Very easy to use once you get the hang of it.
