Bought from SMJ OUTDOORS, unfortunately the seller could not resolve issues because they..........suck. Instead of replacing the item that was received defective they choose to ask me to fix it myself......really? But on the bright side they closed the return account on amazon because "buyer was working directly with manufacturer to resolve problem"........didn't know I was but hey they got my money.On to the stand itself.....junk, very poor quality control. Who sends things out when it has not been inspected for safety? If that brace slips while you're 30 foot up a tree you better have spent the money on a good fall arrest because it will get used. The machining left quiet a bit to be desired as the foot piece is very rough on the back when packing. I got a pad that straps around the tree and just use it for a back cushion when packing. The stand is small, but hey I'm not, I'm 6'2" 240 lbs and it's a chore to climb with this. When trying to sit and climb my knees are against the tree very hard when sitting on the seat bar. The big seat makes it even more cumbersome because on the way up with your climb your knees get buried in that. So I put a hazmore seat on it (really recommend hazmore for any stand, outstanding product) and that will remedy that as you can just push it all forward. The paint is another issue, don't know if it chipped off or rubbed off or was never even there to begin with. On to the traction belts........junk. they are VERY flimsy and it is quiet a struggle to get up a tree with thick bark such as oaks, it will grab the hell out of it and not let go without a wiggle on every pull, but the lone wolf belts will fit these stands and are a bit more stiff and more user friendly. All and all, buy another stand if your serious about hunting and never buy from the seller mentioned above, not even a sharp pencil because if you receive it without the sharp point, they will just ask you to do it yourself. ### ⭐⭐ Sketchy *by C***K on January 29, 2017* Very light and compact, gets the job done but does not make you feel secure whatsoever. Sketched out and move daintily the whole time I'm in it. Needs a wider and sharper tooth grip on the foot platform. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bang for your buck and easy climber *by M***R on August 24, 2018* Great climber at half the cost of a lone wolf. Same features as the lone wolf. I’ve had this climber for 3 years and I’ve carried and climbed all sorts of trees and it has yet to let me down. Light weight at 20lbs and very compact even with my bag. Set up and take down is simple. The only thing I didn’t like was the bungee cord hook was too weak to hold thighs down, but they offer a new one on their site and my plastic buckles came broken in the packaging, but I replaced them easily. Also the paint chips a little easily but it’s all cosmetic and I don’t think the deer really care lol.
