Boy do I have SIGNAL - this thing has lots of gutsy output! Lots of headroom. Here are a few things I noticed;1) The EQ is not too shabby. I'd started to think that it was kind of brittle sounding through the mixer but then I thought, hmmm... did I check the output setting? Nope and it was set to "Amp" not "Mixer". Duh, no wonder it sounds brittle. Changed it to "mixer" and all was good. I was able to bring back some of the highs I had cut with the EQ. As I said, that EQ is not too shabby. It did a pretty good job of getting rid of a lot of the harshness from having the wrong output setting. In the past, the EQs in modelers I've used have never been able to do that - ever. Not even close.2) The Acoustic Guitar Simulator is very usable and very musical when used with my guitar's mini humbucker pickups. I found myself just sitting there playing and diggin' the sound I was getting. It sounds pretty good when combined with my guitar's Piezos/Fishman Aura output but not as different and interesting as with the magnetics.3) I'm really impressed by its stomp box models, namely the RAT and the three different versions of the venerable Ibanez Tube Screamer. I'm not going to get into whether or not they sound just like the originals. I don't care about that. They just sound really good and I love the way they respond to my pick attack. I've never had this experience with stomp box models before. In the other modelers I've had I just ignored them because they've never sounded good to me. Not the case with this modeler.4) The amp models sound better than any of the amp modelers I've ever used. Again, I'm not going to get into how accurate they are because I just don't care. I only care about whether or not I get the sounds I like out of them - and I do! The Fender models are good, so are the Matchless, High Watt and the Marshall JTM 45 but what really got me was the Mesa Boogie Mark IIc amp model. Wow... That thing has become my go to amp model for lead sounds.In doing all of this I didn't even use the Nexus Software Editor - not enough counter space. Still I had a relatively easy time editing the little beast's presets. I'd have been climbing the walls if I tried to do that on my old GT-8. I cannot say enough good things about this little amp modeling pedal. I'm very impressed with it.*Update*Saturday night at Rosario Resort. I've never done a gig using a brand new effects pedal and not had the urge to edit every single preset that I was using. Not once did I bend down to the floor to make changes to the pedal's sound. Unreal! That just does not happen. Completely loving this pedal! Finally. A small, lightweight amp modeling/effects pedal that sounds freaking great! And it was dirt cheap for what it does for me. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price and well built *by V***D on Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2015* Well built and rugged. Although the first one I received had what sounded like a loose screw rolling around in the it. Was sent a replacement next day. The computer interface is very good and in my opinion the best way to edit patches. I found it much more difficult to edit patches on the unit itself, than to do it thrru the computer interface and software (which can be downloaded free). Many of the patches are good and even great, but as a jazz, pop, rock guitarist that need more flexibility, I needed to do some tweeking, and there are infinite possibilities there with the fx and modeling available. My only complaint is that in order to change between modes one has to "simultaneously" hit 2 of the buttons. This has proven to be difficult with my feet/shoes, and requires one to bend over and do it with my fingers. Otherwise a very nice pedal, with a wide range of tones, fx and modeling available. Well worth the $200 I paid for it. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Great value and features for the price. *by E***E on Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2015* This is a very usable multi-effects pedal.Have for many years an GSP1101 and to be honest not happy with it and did not use it. This is very fidelity oriented and non digital sounding in many of the effects. So far the software works and then it doesn't(possibly win 10 problem). But when it does can move patches and save on the computer. Download new ones that are quite good for free. Up to ten effects in any order you want! with a big library to pick from.Used an rp350 and this is by far the best of the bunch have tried so far. No multi-effects units are perfect and that goes without saying. But this has great features, s/n is excellent. Choice of stereo or mono for the output from an internal menu that is quick to dial up. There is easily just enough here to keep anyone busy for a long time. *The stereo imaging on some effects is really impressive. What works is you are not bogged down in too many menus and can get to anything pretty quick.
