I have had a similar one for a few years. But, this one is better in many ways. First, it is finer diamond grit(600). Second, the construction is superior. Third, the whole mechanism of one part going into another and the whole thing in a small pouch is an extra convenience. This works really well for most of the serrated knives and a several other household things. For what it does, it is also reasonably priced.
