This thing charges fast and the batteries that go with it seem to last an eternity compared to the other rechargeable batteries and even regular batteries I was using.If you play for extended periods of time....just buy this and be done with it. The "charging" time is getting shorter and shorter (about 5 min now). Play time ranges from 10 - 20 minutes on one of these mini-charges, so I've decided to replace it. I play occasionally on weekdays and probably 3-6 hours per day on most weekends. I probably should have replaced this a while ago, so I will say it's useful life was about 1.5 years.
