Wingman Force 3D Joystick

Works very well with Flight Sims 2004, not tried it with newer flight sims.

This joystick has a good feel and a practical number of buttons. First one I bought had a problem with internal wiring loom rubbing against moving parts - replaced under guarrantee. Next one had same problem, but I was living abroad so I fixed it myself, but them after a year or so one of the force feedback motors burnt out. Could not get a spare. Frustrating. I'd only buy another because I now have a spare motor!

It was with some exitement, and dread that I unwrapped my new "Force Feedback Wingman Force 3D". Running XP I knew this could be a long job. I had MS Flight Sim 2002 & the joystick as a gift from my wife. Not specifically quoted for XP my initial worries were well founded and it took several attempts and an internet driver download before I got the joystick installed and working. As with all the logitech peripherals I have purchased it is well made and feels substantial, and FS2002 is a better playing experience with this product. Its reletivly small foot print (for a feedback product) influenced my decision and I expected the feedback to be reduced - it isn't. My only critisism would be the complex key assigment - overall I would buy it again.

Great design, feels good to hold and performs well. One of the best joysticks I have ever had. It's very stiff and the throttle is nice a tough, I really don't like it when things are loose. There are 6 buttons all within reach of your thumb controlling the stick. The connector is USB, but there is also a connector from a standard gameport, so it can be used on any computer. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase.
