They have a hidden menu that allows you to change settings that are explained nowhere in the manual - if you are the curious type of person who likes exploring into digital systems you should be careful as I changed it from a 5 kg max/0.01 g resolution scale to a 100g max / 0.001 g setting. Of course the load cell did not cooperate and there are about a hundred different options to choose from which are anything but clearly described in the menu. Long story short it took me a couple hours to get it set back correctly but I really wish the manufacturer would not give instructions on how to access a menu and then only explain a couple of the functions! (Not that I wouldn't have found the menu on my own, but still...) Overall I'm very happy with the purchase and have ordered three of them for different locations.
