Cheap buckle
I hate to give it a one star, but the buckle in the front is cheap. It broke in like 6 months of owning it and customer support called it a โwear itemโ what good is lifetime warranty with this isnโt covered. Itโs sewn in and canโt be easily fixed. I guess I expected more from a $90 bag

Lot of room for EDC Bag.
This is my EDC bag now since I started having back problems. I have attached a couple of attachments since even though it is the Jumbo version I tend to carry a couple of things. Currently I carry my ASUS 10.1 Transformer Tablet in the back sleeve, a 32 OZ Double wall Zojirushi Thermos in the bottle compartment. An Extra large Bento Zojirushi Canister with Lunch in it (Main compartment). A portable 2 TB Hard Drive in the EDC Pocket organizer as well as an Anker 5 port USB charger. Wireless Mouse On the MIni Pocket Organizer. My Klipsch headphones on the left hand side sleeve and, backup mee electronics headphones. Some work materials in the left side pocket. On the top little compartment a Charger for my Phone, 2 retractable micro usb chargers (one for my laptop and one for forgetful android co-workers phones) mini usb retractable charger cable, 3DS USB recharger. I also have my leatherman multitool (wave) attached to the molle webbing. Last but not least on the front organizer compartment I have pens, Floss more work goodies. I have a little bit more room but not much more cause I would kill my back again and it would be troublesome to close the front clasp.I still have a Maxpedition slinger pack but that was when I was carrying my 15.6 Acer laptop and when back was doing much better along with alot of other stuff that I should have not been carrying.

Good pack - smaller than expected.
This is a good pack to have along on day hikes/bike rides/geocaching. I have a few backpacks, but get kind of tired carrying around on my back as I get older. Been looking at these side/shoulder packs for quite some time now and decided to purchase one. Glad I did!! I like the shoulder strap concept for it would make carrying stuff a lot easier. Main compartment is large enough for spare shirts, socks, rain gear. Multiple pockets to carry/store those essentials that you want in one spot and for quick/easy access.Pocket for a water bottle. Adjustable shoulder strap and can be adjusted to fit left or right shoulder. Pockets large enough to accommodate handguns and ammo and snacks. Was looking at this product on the Maxpedition website, and these things looked larger on their videos than they actually are in reality.Purchased my side pack via Amazon for I thought that the price was a lot more reasonable than the Maxpedition website. Purchased the "safety yellow" color mainly because I do a lot of hiking/biking on my own and my theory is if something happens to me, hopefully the bright yellow color would be just a bit more noticeable contrasting with the natural surroundings - in theory!!Overall, satisfied with my pack and can see it being abused in the near future. Amazon done a great job in delivering product to me in a timely manner, actually about 3 days sooner than expected.

Pockets E.V.E.R.Y.W.H.E.R.E
I have never owned a bag with so many pockets in such a small form factor. I bought it to use for all sorts of stuff, including carrying bits and bobs to picnic and to trail with the kids, and it does more than what I was expecting. The construction quality is also top notch: construction materials feel very robust and very well put together. It's also comfortable to carry in different configurations. If you add weighty items (you know, life stuff made out of steel...), it's also a lot more convenient to bring with me than my much bigger 50L bag.Worth every penny.

This is an excellent satchel...this is not a man purse
Good size to serve as a general purpose satchel. You can carry this with you for conceal and carry (this did not have the accessory holster strap) using zippered pouch. However, if not used for conceal and carry you can still use the accessory to hold pepper spray canister. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001DZT8BS/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_36 You will have ample room to carry your First Aid Kit, paracord spool, etc., a sunglass holder pouch, separate pouch for multi-tool, slip pocket for long blade or baton, zipper pouch on cover flap (note pad and pen) and a hydro-flask holder (32 oz.). The cross chest makes it easy to carry.I also have the Fat Boy, which is smaller than the Jumbo and minus the hydroflask holder.

and just didn't like its size
I used the fatboy for a while, and just didn't like its size, it really wasn't fitting my purpose. after 3 months of using this, I can say it's the perfect size for me. I carry several moleskine notebooks, my ipad, water bottle, several assorted medications, lotions, multitool, folding knife, and a few other things in here, and i still have room if I want to carry something else.Sometimes i will loosen the front buckle, and my thermos fits snugly on the top of everything with my camelbak chute water bottle in the carrying pouch. This is an amazing pack, and I absolutely love it. I was scared to use it as an EDC, because I'm a guy, and it looks suspiciously like a purse. I get complements from guys and girls alike, and I've had several guys genuinely interested in getting one for themselves. I wore my backpack as an EDC for many years, and even though it was more versatile (spacious), this has plenty of room for my needs, and makes it much easier to organize/find everything.

Spot on.
I purchased this a month or so ago after having seen them on Youtube, I think. I did some research and found that Maxpedition seem to be well regarded, particularly on the U.S. I have not been disappointed. I use this along with a couple of Maxpedition's pocket pouches as an every day carry bag and as a bag to carry some food and small bits and bobs when I am on a long dog walk, for example. It is built like a brick outhouse with tough ballistic nylon material. Given that it only has one strap in a sling style, as long as you don't hugely load it with weight, it is comfortable on the shoulder. It has a one inch wide waist strap which can be used to secure it to your body. This stops it moving around when on a hike.Lots of pockets, clips and Molle webbing attachments. There is not really anymore I can say that is not already out there on the web. Check out Youtube and you will find loads of really useful reviews on this and other Maxpedition gear.I highly recommend it, and would I buy some more of their stuff? I already did, and at some point, a rucksack from them is on the cards. Go buy one.

Great little bag
The maxpedition Jumbo is a great bag and i carry it almost every day. Both to work, packed with an 8 inch tablet, alot of tech and my lunch, and for family stuff, diapers snacks and clothes. It does pretty good as a diaperbag.I have had mine for over a year and I have yet to find a fault with it.Its really durable and holds off dirt pretty good. Its also pretty much waterproof. It has a pocket for concealed carry weapons. That is great for my phone, wallet, tickets, passport or other stuff you want easily accesible.Otherwise its pretty much what it says on the tin. The havnt revolutionised bags, they just made a very good one.

Great bag! Compact, but large at the same time.
I was looking for a satchel-type bag when I stumbled upon this Maxpedition versipack. It isn't the cheapest bag around, but it's definitely worth every pound spent. Based on other customers reviews, I chose the jumbo, because I wanted to make sure I could pack a book and a lunchbox, while still having some space left.Well, honestly, even with a (large) book, a lunchbox and a notebook, the center bag's only half full, and we're not even talking about the smaller side-bags. And yes, it's (more than) big enough for a tablet. And as a daily commuter who is (most of the time) packed like a sardine during his trainrides, this bag gives me more moving space than a standard rucksack. The only negative point is that it's not made to hold A4-size paper, but I was (well) aware of that before I bought it. So not a problem at all!Anyway, another happy Maxpedition customer!

Recomended / Adventure travel bag.
I use this bag for my travels to carry 2 small cameras, a Sony NEX 7 with 10/12 lens & Olympus EM1/12/40 lens +75/1.8 lens. Lots of pockets for memory cards , leads & passport etc.I have used Maxpedition bags for years & they are far superior to any camera bag you can buy.highly recommended.

Great looking, high quality bag
I bought this for my partner and he loves it. It has loads of pockets and it's a good size. He uses a walker so he needed a bag that wasn't too difficult to lug around with him. This bag definitely fit the bill.
