Review: Seller needs to flag fitting issue - This is sturdy and fit for purpose if – and this is a BIG IF – it fits! I have a windowsill, and the size of the hook is too small to fit over both the window frame and this window sill. I checked back, and no measurements are given for this diameter. So for me, these hooks were a complete waste of money. Not only that, I now have to find someone to drill holes in the wall for hooks in order to use my safety ladder. This omission is not only annoying and costly, but a safety concern. I was very disappointed, as I was trying to ensure safety without needing to employ someone to do the drilling, something I'm not qualified to do myself to the standard required to bear the weight of an adult human.
Review: Looks fine, wont know till used for real though - Again, i won't really use these till a fire happens so can't really review based on usage but it is what i expected. Though i feel the price is higher than I'd like. After hanging them out the window it did feel like they're fall without me holing it so i do worry what would happen once the ladders are fastened to them, if the weight would stop it from falling over the ledge or if the ladder would just pull them over with it. Again, won't know till the day comes that i have to use them but for the time being they look fine in general.
