I use an S10 filter on my 5 gallon betta tank .For best results with tropical fish should I use (1) Bio-carb and (1) Bio-clear or (2) bio-carb's?

It is confusing that they only provide one of each cartridge with the power filter kit, so I actually emailed Hagen customer support (the makers of these filters), and, according to them, you are supposed to use two of the same type of filter cartridge, not one of each. So you should be using 2 BioCarb cartridges for your betta.

Can i used in a marine aquarium?

Yes I have a 20 gallon Marina fish aquarium

What if you have a 5 gallon tank with guppies, can you use one filter cartridge at a time instead of 2?

If your raising guppies, I'm thinking that two would be better. It also depends on how many fish per square inch the tank will hold. Good luck...
