It takes the hot tap one water bottle full to heat up anyhow. This is plenty to wash up and if there is leftover water I dump it in the bowl and usually it flushes the toilet as well. The flow is sufficiently strong. The only issue I had is with priming the device. You can't have the water flow straight up at first.
