Avène Gentle Milk Cleanser

Let me start off with, I am a straight up product junkie , forever in search of the perfect product for my relatively new dry, dehydrated skin. I’m also a licensed esthetician and cosmetologist (licensed in both separately, yes) so I am naturally into skincare stuff in general, but , you see I used to have extremely oily, relentlessly acne-prone skin (also highly sensitive to boot! 👍🏻) well into my late 20’s , then bam, switcharoo! No more acne. Replaced by severally dry , dehydrated skin. Just like my dad. The insane sensitivity comes from my mom (who has flawless , beautiful NORMAL skin type otherwise, which is like 1% of the population btw) . Thanks, you guys for the lovely genetics 😸👍🏻 (Jk ). Anyways, I always remember buying him moisturizers he never used but constantly complained about the discomfort and flakey, dry forehead. Yeah, I inherited that. You wouldn’t really know it, though, because I do take really good care of my skin. Like with product such as this! This is the BEST CLEANSER I have ever used. My skin looks soft, hydrated, supple, dewy even! I’m so impressed!!!! I hesitated buying it, because it’s pricey for a cleanser I didn’t even need, but dang. Well worth it!!! I’m off to try more of their god-given stuff!

This is best cleanser for my super sensitive skin. I have very oily skin & any cleanser that isn’t gentle makes my skin either get even more oily or dry up & flake. I’ve used this for several years after first buying at my dermatologist office.

I can't say enough about Avene products. They are simply a superb, affordable skin care line. Made in France. The French know a great deal about skin care. These products are formulated with their own water, from a natural spring. People come from far and wide to bathe in this spring for it's healing benefits. I have used them for years. They are perfect for sensitive, dry or regular skin. For anyone who does'nt want to spend an arm and a leg on really great skin products for face and body.SFP West Bloomfield

I love the feel and the scent of this cleansing milk. It is gentle and hydrating - does not dry skin out.Highly recommend for aging skin.

I was hesitant to use this after opening — it has a perfume scent. Although relatively mild, I try to stick with unscented products or those that just smell like the ingredients (i.e. GR’s watermelon AHA mask smells like watermelon because that is a primary ingredient). My skin is sensitive, combo, and prone to breakouts. It does not like things that have added fragrance.I decided to try it anyway, swayed by all the rave reviews. It does remove dirt, makeup, buildup, etc. insanely well, without being oily like a cleansing balm. I wipe it off with a damp microfiber washcloth (much gentler material than a typical towels) or rinse with lukewarm water before following through with the rest of my regimen.It hasn’t been quite long enough to know how it works for me in general. However I know so far that it makes my skin nice and soft, it’s moisturizing, and it’s *okay* for sensitive skin. The scent doesn’t linger, it’s gone pretty much as soon as you wash. It’s a good ultra-gentle, non-exfoliating/foaming option for damaged skin (good for retinol burn, for example).I’ll update this review when I get a better sense of it.

This milk face cleanser works fantastic to very dry and sensitive skin. I have bought this product multiple times . It’s easy to use, you just apply on the face and wipe off with a wet tissue. You don’t need to wash your face. It removes all makeup and provides a natural glow on the skin.

I just wanna start off by saying this have become my ride or die facial cleanser. I use this is the shower to get rid of any excess dirt and makeup, I use this every day as a moisturizer whether I'm going bare face or wearing it under makeup (works as a good makeup primer as well). I have extremely dry skin in my T zone and this gets rid of it instantly! Not only does it make my skin feel so clean, so soft, and make it look overall radiant, I has CURED my Milia!!! For those who don't know what that is, milia also goes by "milk spots" and they're tiny white marks on the skin that look like pimples but aren't. They can't be popped and are extremely hard to get rid of. I used to have them under my eyes and along my cheek bones. Ever since I've been using this, they disappeared completely. Idk what's in this stuff to have treated my Milia but I'm so thankful I found this!! I highly highly recommend this product to anyone. (I'm obviously not a doctor and can't say that this will work on anyone with Milia but it just seems that this worked very well for me)

Lo mejor

Hands down best cleanser for dry/combo oily skin. Comes off with tissue, cotton wool or damp hot cloth. Is non comedogenic, non drying and can be used for double cleansing. I've been using this for 20 years and it's still just as wonderful as when I first discovered it.

Die Reinigungsmilch trocknet meine Haut nicht aus und verhindert dadurch schmerzhaftes Brennen und ein Gesicht, das aussieht, als würde es in Flammen stehen. (Werde rot, sobald meine Haut etwas nicht verträgt...)Habe lange nach einer Reinigung gesucht, die sehr sanft ist - und hiermit gefunden. Meine Haut hat sich aus einem mir unbekannten Grund verschlimmert, im Winter wird's gerade noch schlimmer. Ich muss also richtig aufpassen, dass ich nicht einfach die nächstbeste Reinigungsmilch (o.ä.) benutze, weil das dann für ein paar Tage nicht so schön aussieht. Kann ich nur empfehlen, ich habe seitdem kaum noch Probleme.
