A tincture made with alcohol will smell more strongly of the herb used as alcohol extracts the constituents from the herb better than glycerin. **Q: Does this contain corn?** A: I read the bottle for you. I saw no corn or corn by-products listed. **Q: What is the extraction rate, 4:1 or 8:1.** A: It is a 1:1 extraction We use 8 lbs of Lemon Balm (Melissa Officinalis) per gallon of base. Most other Lemon Balm extracts are only 2 lbs per gallon of base… making our Lemon Balm 4 times as strong! Not only is it 4 times stronger than other brands...
