Teva Women's Original Universal Sandal

Looking for the "original" classic Teva? This one's not it. The original had a roomier footbed - wider and longer for the same size - and a stiffer and much tougher outsole with better tread and grip. I spent years rock-hopping along the shoreline with my old Tevas, but I don't trust the new ones. Cheap cheap sandals that feel like they're gonna fall apart in a month. I'm sad :(. Love these! Fit great (I'm an 8.5 and ordered an 8). Feel great. Hold my feet in place. Bought them for the amusement park and camping outings.

This is my first Teva and it is very very comfortable. I got it for my lazy river tubing trip because I want to be able to walk under water with shoes. It is very cute and I am in love with it. I am a half size person 7.5 so I had hard time deciding size but I decided to go with 7 and they fit good. Length is bit tight but because I have narrow feet it works. 8 probably is bit too big. From my experience if you are half size and have narrow feet, I would go with smaller size and if you have wider feet, I would size up. Despite the narrowness of your feet, if you like having more space in the front of your shoe you can get bigger size as well. Overall, the shoe dried really quick and I love them.

I love Teva sandals, usually. As my title indicates, I'm surprised to be writing an essentially negative review of the Original Universal Sandal. I bought these 25 weeks into pregnancy, anticipating the hot, busy summer months, so keep that in mind as you weigh this review. However, I had the same problem that a few other reviews noted - an uncomfortable pull around the outer edge of the foot hear the baby toe, where the strap closer o the toes straps across the foot. I didn't notice the issue at all with a short wear.As a matter of fact, the shoes come on feeling incredibly comfortable. It's only after an hour or more of sustained walking and standing in the Original Universal sandals that I had issues: 1) The support was less than I've experienced in other sandals, and I require orthopedic support in a sandal that I'm going to wear for any length of time - running errands, doing family day trips, etc.; and, 2) The rub.The print is beautiful and accurate. I bought the Miramar Coral & Sun/Moon Insignia Blue pairs. The Original Universal sandals will have to do, but I'm disappointed.

These sandals are comfortable and provide the support I was looking for to do a lot of walking without wearing a pair of sneakers. I wear a half size and after the reading the reviews I ordered down instead of up as was my instinct to do. Ordering down was the way to go as I am happy with the fit. I wore these to Disney World and walked 9.5 miles 1 day and 10 the other. Other than being physically hot and tired my feet felt great!

Perfect. I love them wore them to clean my house even to make sure I’d not get ouchies before I kept them. My more expensive keens give me blisters no matter how I’ve tried to break in.These will be great to hike in and play in the rivers. I’m a mountain mom and we are going to Hawaii soon so I’m excited to have shoes that are pAinful. The material is pretty stain resistant I’m a mom of four we throw shoes in a pile by the door no issues they still look new.

I love these sandals! I debated for a few months about buying them because I didn’t think they looked particularly stylish but I am so glad I decided to get them. They are SO comfortable. I walked all day the first time I wore them and had zero blisters or rubbing on my skin like some shoes during the break in period. There really isn’t a break in period - they’re good to go out of the box. It feels like walking on a squishy yoga mat and the ribbed texture is really pleasant. It’s nice that the straps are really adjustable. And honestly, I think they do look cute! They go with shorts or jeans but I’d probably wear them with a casual dress or skirt too. I’ve worn them to work a couple times when my feet were sore and they didn’t look out of place. Highly recommend.As others have noted, I recommend sizing down a half size if you’re in between. I usually wear a 9.5/10 but got these in a 9. They fit perfectly.

When my well-loved Reef flip-flops broke a month ago, I was in dire need of a sandal I could easily throw on and walk miles in. I live in a fairly hot climate and walk everywhere, and I needed something that was as comfy as those Reefs. I saw these for a few dollars less and decided to try them out, and I'll just say this: I'm NEVER going to buy another brand of outdoor sandal.These are so simple, and the lack of random extra straps (looking at you, Chaco) definitely contributes to their comfiness. I love the way they look, I love the way they feel, and I love how durable they seem to be. I've only had them for a few weeks but have definitely gotten some mileage out of them already, and they still look brand new.

Because the strap sits where it does on the foot when you walk up steps the front have a tendency to catch on the step. Now before you think I am clumsy, I have many sandals that I wear that this has never happened before. When I wear these shoes I cant for the life of me make it up a flight of steps. One time I split my forehead, another I grazed my calf and after a bad fall at a cathedral I put these shoes into retirement. You have been warned, buy at your peril.

I bought these to replace my previous Teva sandals, I had them for years and did everything in them from white water rafting to walking around India and local pavements until the bottoms wore out. They were the perfect sandal.These are the same flexible sole, material and design as my previous sandals and just what I wanted BUT Teva have now removed a velcro fastening strap options from the heel and where the small toe is.I have narrow feet and am finding that I can no longer "fine tune" the fitting to what was previously a perfect fit.The only velcro straps you can move are ankle and across the four toes.My foot is not positioned where I want it and the front strap had to be cut to stop it scraping on the ground.My foot is pulled towards the instep and I have tripped a few times when I wear them.So if you're looking to replace your previous Teva, it is not the same experience.Cutbacks for profit NOT improved design.

Comfortable although finding the right size was a little problem. I am normally size 6 say when I shop from say Clarks but this is one size up

Great fit. Very nice. Bought for my very picky teenage daughter and she loves them. She is in boarding school and found them really comfortable and ideal for after school moves. Very happy customer.

Very comfortable, great for walking around town or out in the country.Much better than flip flops when walking up and down slopes. Good in water too but would prefer aqua socks for swimming in the sea and climbing onto rocks in the sea as they offer more protection.
