I saw these advertised online and decided to try them. S far, they are working well. I needed to use 4 of them in my application. 3 out of 4 went in perfectly and worked flawlessly. The 4th one created a big hole when I put in the screw - the whole Wall Claw started turning with the screw and bore a big hole in the drywall (the diameter of the Wall Claw itself, about dime sized.). Luckily, the hole was big enough so I could see the edge of a nearby stud, so I was able to screw directly into the stud without the 4th Wall Claw. I think part of the issue was my drywall - it's plaster-like in some areas, and the 4th wall Claw didn't grip like the other 3.Overall, I like how easy the Wall Claw is to use, plus, the curtain rod is still holding strong.
