Review: It made my hard water taste soft and fresh like no filter I've ever tried - It made my hard water taste soft and fresh like no filter I've ever tried. I live surrounded by commercial blueberry fields and even though they are called "wild" they are sprayed heavily, industrially with a dozen or more chemicals. So I've been filtering my water for 20 years just to be on the safe side. My water also has a high copper content. I like that the charcoal imparts some minerals because super filtered water is depleted of these and I think drinking it deprives your body of these consequently causing it to take them from your bones. I've used my sticks in a clear glass container with a flexible silicon lid, I like that there is no plastic involved in the filtering process. A wonderful product, I wonder why we can't make them in the U.S.? I wonder if I could make them myself in my wood stove? :) ha, ha! Seriously though, how are these sticks different from the burnt coals in my wood stove? Review: Holy crap it works! - It works. I mean it actually works. I was so skeptical, because I mean, it’s a stick for goodness sake lol but it genuinely does work. Our well water has a very heavy mineral taste so we’ve been using a brita filter for quite some time. I got tired os using so much plastic so I decided to give this a try. I wasn’t really sure what to expect but my water tastes crisp and clean now. Even my husband was impressed. It tastes as good as the brita and nothing is going to a landfill. It’s a win win. ## Features - A simple and elegant way to use the Kishu Charcoal upper tap water filter - Simply add any 1-2 quart pitcher or carafe with tap water and watch Kishu - Kishu pile, toxins good-for-you, minerals - Can be used 1 piece, 4 months - 4 months in Kishu as a deodorizer that can be reused as a refrigg or broka" in bloom as if you put it in the Kishu and store it ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00J15DXRM | | Best Sellers Rank | #179,757 in Tools & Home Improvement ( See Top 100 in Tools & Home Improvement ) #352 in Replacement Pitcher Water Filters | | Brand | Kishu Charcoal | | Brand Name | Kishu Charcoal | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 117 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 4 months | | External Testing Certification | NSF | | Item Weight | 1.76 ounces | | Manufacturer Part Number | 43222-3033 | | Material | Carbon Fiber | | Material Type | Carbon Fiber | | Model Number | 43222-3033 | | Number of Items | 2 | | Number of Packs | 2 | | Product Benefits | Removes Impurities and Improves Taste | | Set Name | 2-pack | | UPC | 793573838964 | | Unit Count | 2 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kishu Charcoal - **External Testing Certification:** NSF - **Item Weight:** 0.11 Pounds - **Material:** Carbon Fiber - **Product Benefits:** Removes Impurities and Improves Taste ## Images ![Kishu Charcoal - Activated Charcoal Water Filter for Pitchers 2-pack - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71+LSH+EjfL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It made my hard water taste soft and fresh like no filter I've ever tried *by D***E on January 16, 2016* It made my hard water taste soft and fresh like no filter I've ever tried.
