The front pocket s are deeper so your cell phone doesn't strict out of the pocket. It also has two smaller pockets one for your utility knife and the other for your pencil. Plus the other two pockets for cell phone and wallet. I no longer will buy Dickies I have been using Dickies for years. The more recent Dickies I have been getting the bottom pant legs have become bell bottom style. Which I do not like. The Big Smith have more of a straight leg bottom which I like better. I can't say enough good about the Big Smith Big overalls.
