Masri's voice is gorgeous and the music is beautiful. However, the CD loses a star in my book because the schmaltz factor needs to be ratcheded down about 100 notches. In fact, I like it better when he sings in a language other than English because the lyrics are so sappy that you will need a supply of insulin to listen to the CD in one sitting. That being said, it is lovely to hear a CD that doesn't make you want to run for the earplugs.
