Essential if you work on Japanese equipment โ but don't confuse it with Phillips
I've had this set for around five years, using it primarily on Japanese appliances and RC cars. It does exactly what a JIS screwdriver set should โ the fit is precise and you can drive screws properly without slipping or damaging heads, which is the whole point.The important thing to understand before buying is that JIS and Phillips look very similar but are not interchangeable. Using a Phillips driver on JIS screws (common on Japanese equipment) is typically what causes cam-out and damaged heads in the first place. These drivers solve that problem, but equally you shouldn't use them as a substitute for Phillips โ they're purpose-specific tools.Five years in and the set is still in good condition. Good quality from Sealey and well worth having if you regularly work on Japanese-made products.

Worth a purchas for Japanese bikes and Cars
Makes such a massive difference when working on Japanese bikes.Only gave up and bought them when I didnt have time to find ones in Tokyo but again, glad I got them instead of going without them. Compared to using a philip's head on my Suzuki bike they stick into the original screws as if they were super glued.
