While in a video conference or phone call, when the cable drops the connection, it causes the microphone, speaker, and video camera to all disconnect or change to a different device, and interrupts all conversations. Even though the connection reestablishes in a very short time, it causes grief, frustration, and makes using the the dock for meetings unreliable. The best thing is that it can charge my iPad despite being so long. I wanted a cable that would reach a wall outlet while laying in bed and this is perfect. It’s a little stiff but that means it doesn’t bend at the joints between the cable and the plug where most of my previous cables failed.
