Or is it sold seperately.** A: Mine included the dual float switch so I guess the unit would ship with one. **Q: Can i hook this up to my existing pump and a battery to make it a bacup system for when power goes out?** A: no this is just the swtich it still needs a pump to work and will not work as a battery back up **Q: where can i purchase the float seperate** A: I did an internet search for the float and entire unit. It turned out the price was nearly the same to get the entire unit as just getting the float. As it turned out I did not require either.
