Review: Wow! What an update. - First read this title in an early edition in the 1980s. Updated to this version and what an almighty tome it has turned into. Refreshing my knowledge and loving it.
Review: will get you through a degree - Firstly this is a tome not a book (3kg)but it has gotten me through some difficult parts of my modules and expanded my knowledge massively. I find the instructions easy to follow and its laid out with common sense. That being said you do need an understanding of at least GCSE maths as this is A-level to bachelors level degree year 3 in engineering. Definately worth the £40-50 considering you are spending thousands on your education. There is an Advanced Engineering Mathematics for levels after this which is more expensive, but probably essential too. If you are struggling to get through on maths, this is a must buy.
