Great looking and great price!
I now have two of these thatched palapa style umbrellas. They hold up well in the California weather and look much better in my Bali-style backyard than a basic canvas umbrella would.

Diameter of pole is large does not fit in standard UMBRELLA HOLE, i opened the umbrella in the full position before installing would love to see someone try to open and install dowel that keeps it open. lasted 3 months before black mold made it unusable, indoors it may last forever outdoors good luck. Would love to see honest reviews after a few months.

Poor Design and Quality
Poor quality - Very difficult to open. The umbrella top is very heavy. It needs a pully system. Had to drill an extra hole because the holes were not low enough to secure the open umbrella.

Great thatch umbrella for the price
This is the third time i bought these (6 total as i buy two at a time) These are not your K/mart cheep umbrella. For the price and effect these are great for the price. Years ago you could pay a few more bucks and get the double thick thatch, but i cant find them any more. They lasted much longer. But for the price i buy these. I live in the very hot and windy part of southern California and i NEVER take them down. If you have our type of weather you should get 3 years out of them. I just installed a inside light kit and it helps to use nylon rope tied to the thatching for added life. I recommend these umbrellas assuming you have a 2"hole and marble heavy table heavy enough to keep it in place.

Real Authentic Heavy Duty Hand Made Thatched Umbrella
Excellent and authentic. Well made and yes...very heavy...just as one should expect. Open upside down before standing in position. It just feels really cool sitting under this opposed to a standard, China made POS. These are made in Vietnam by the same standards as they have been for over 200 years. Superb value.
