Review: Well written and useful book - Very good book for beginners like me. Also it does explain why things happen - other books just present the steps for machine learning without explanation. Review: A good book to introduce machine learning - I can recommend this book if you are new to machine learning. There is also a very good chapter on the Tidyverse.

Buyer’s Remorse ☹️
Don’t buy this book. The content is super light, dangerously so. I love Manning Publications, but this book was a huge disappointment. Instead buy “Practical Data Science with R” 2nd ed. for guidance on AI techniques and “R for Data Science” for tidyverse guidance.

lesenswert
