Awsome!
As someone who likes to keep the house clean and comfortable, the TERRO T901-6 Ant Killer Plus Multi-Purpose has been a huge help. The ant removal is seriously impressive—it works fast and really gets rid of the problem, not just temporarily but in a way that keeps them from coming back. I also noticed the coverage is great. A little goes a long way, and it spreads well enough to handle multiple areas where bugs try to come in. The instructions were simple and easy to follow, which made using it stress-free even the first time. Now I will say, the odor is pretty strong and not the best smelling, but honestly it’s worth it for how well it works. Once it settles, it’s manageable. The durability is another big plus—it keeps working over time and helps stop not just ants but other bugs from coming in too. Overall, it’s a very effective product that does exactly what it promises, even if the smell isn’t the greatest.

Eight weeks in - skunks gone, new plantings safe, lawn is full
Last summer we had skunks digging up the yard at night - going after the grub population in our turf. The lawn looked like someone had taken a hand spade to it in patches every morning. This spring we put in fresh plant beds and I started seeing grubs in the soil as I worked. That was enough to get ahead of it. I put down GrubEx about eight weeks ago, watered it in, and let it work. The results have been clear: no skunk damage this season, the lawn is full, and when I dig around the new plants I am not finding the grubs I was seeing in early spring. For a single-application product at this price, that is the result I was hoping for. WHAT WORKS - One application covers 5,000 sq ft for the full season. Cost per square foot is reasonable compared to hiring a lawn treatment company. - Easy to spread with a standard broadcast spreader. Granules are uniform and do not clump. - Visible results within weeks. By week 4 I had stopped seeing fresh skunk damage. By week 8 the lawn had filled in and the new beds are undisturbed. - Set-it-and-forget-it timing. Spring application, done for the season - no follow-up needed. WHAT DOES NOT - You absolutely have to water it in. The instructions say this, but it is worth repeating - if you spread it and skip the watering, you have wasted the bag. Apply right before rain or right before you run sprinklers. - The bag is dusty when you cut it open. Stand upwind and wash your hands before touching your face. Not a deal-breaker, just a heads-up. WHO IT IS FOR Anyone seeing skunk, raccoon, armadillo, or mole damage in their lawn - that is the grub population getting raided - or anyone who has just put down new plant beds and does not want them undermined. If you have no signs of grubs and no animal damage, you probably do not need this yet. Wait until you see the problem. Five stars. Bought it for a specific problem, it solved the specific problem, lawn looks better than last year. Photo of the current state included.

Really Helped Get the Ant Problem Under Control
I picked this up when we started noticing more ants around the yard and near the house, and I’m honestly glad I did. It’s very easy to use—just sprinkle it where you see activity or around the perimeter. I didn’t need anything complicated, and this was straightforward enough to handle quickly. After using it, I definitely noticed a difference within a short time. The ant activity went down a lot, and it also gave me some peace of mind knowing it works on other bugs too, not just ants. The shaker bag makes it simple to apply, and the size is pretty generous, so it lasts for multiple uses. Of course, you still have to be a little careful when using it outdoors, especially if you have pets, but as long as you follow the instructions, it does what it’s supposed to do. Overall, it’s been a really practical solution for keeping bugs under control around the house. 🐜💛

Works ok.
I try to get a granule or 2 down their hole. It does work. They always come back though. This stuff is economical and good.

Ants they laugh! Shaker bag great product not so much.
Well this is a great shaker bag but quite frankly I was upset that it didn’t demolish the ant houses. Those creepy crawling sugar eating whore ants just do not die. The product was applied just as described and the ants lefts for 2 days then were back at it in the same areas. Maybe I have supervillain ants? Idk but I do know they have not moved out even when I used this to evict them. They just laugh at me. Have you ever seen an ant face under the microscope? Well yeah they look like little demons. Now I can appreciate their purpose on this earth but that doesn’t mean I want millions living in my yard a huge army of demon faced armored supervillains is not my idea of great neighbors. So if you have ants marching around your house like they own it you may need something more than this.

Easy to Use and Very Effective — Just Works
I’ve used TERRO products both inside and outside the house over the years, and they have consistently worked well for me. This Ant Killer Plus is no exception. The shaker bag design makes application very easy, and I really like that the bag is resealable for storage between uses. You can quickly spread it around problem areas without creating a mess. Most importantly, it’s effective. It started working on outdoor insect activity fairly quickly, and I appreciate that it does the job without strong chemical smells or oily residue. No complicated setup, no mess — just apply it and let it work. I’ve had good experiences with TERRO products in general, and this continues that trend. If you need an easy-to-apply outdoor insect control product that works without a lot of hassle, this is a solid option.

Effective Perimeter Shield—Much Cheaper Than a Professional Service
I’ve been dealing with a massive ant problem in both my front and back yards lately, so I grabbed a bag of this to try and seal off the house. Honestly, I’m impressed. Within about 24 hours, the trails along my patio and walkways just... disappeared. A few things you should know before you buy: The Bag is the Best Part: You don’t need a spreader for this. The bag has a built-in handle and a shaker top, so you just walk around and shake it as you go. It worked better than I expected. Just don't spread this on a windy day. Watch the Coverage: I found that one bag almost did the whole perimeter of my house. If you have a larger place or want a really thick "barrier" (around 5-10 feet wide), definitely play it safe and just buy two bags. The "Watering" Trick: I did give it a light misting with the hose afterwards. It seemed to help to "activate" it (maybe)? If anything, helped the granules from blowing away and sink into the dirt where the ants actually live. The "Odor" and Cleanup: Just a heads up—there is a pretty noticeable chemical smell right when you put it down but it it went away after an hour or so. Also, the granules don't completely dissolve away even after watering (something I expected to happen).
