I absolutely love this speaker. And yes, as others have said it isn't like a huge speaker system (we have an excellent stereo system, so I know the difference). But, this speaker puts out a great sound and you can easily transport it. It means I can listen to my music wherever I go and I'm not limited to my "living room." By the way, my Jam speaker works great with my laptop and with my phone. I use it with both. And, the colors are cool. They add a neat effect.

Amazing product. Sleek, modern design. Colors with amazing led display that has multiple program features. Quality of sound is great, and the quality of the material used is great, very rigid and strong as well with all the rubber bumpers on the speaker.

I purchased the JAM Trance Plus Wireless Lightshow Bluetooth speaker. I ordered it from Amazon at the very end of March. I moved and never opened the box until last week. I plugged it in to charge, it said "Charging," but after 30 seconds it says "powering off." I reached out to the Amazon distributor but because it was beyond the return date, he refused to replace. This speaker genuinely had never been used and off gate, fresh from the box it didn't work.

Could be a little louder.

I wanted to put one speaker on each side of my computer to have a nice light-show while watching a movie or listening to music. Unfortunately Window's 10 doesn't have the greatest audio drivers, and so you have to deal with what you got. These do have decent bass (very little bass because they are so small), but decent bass for what they are. Not mindbogglingly powerful, but you wouldn't be looking at these if you wanted full powered. So the review has to stand on the reason for these speakers -- portability, battery life, light-show, price. Portability: No problems with portability unless you would want to put it in your pocket for some unknown reason - it's not going to fit comfortably in a pocket. Battery life: Lasts as long as it's supposed to unless you use full volume then you can subtract about 45 minutes. Light-Show: There are really only 3 modes (and 2 quasi modes) and I can say that other light-show speakers have a better show than these. The instructions talked about more configurations, but the option must be gone. I plug them into the computer and there is no app or other way to get better light show. Price: Bluetooth speakers shouldn't break the bank. The price on these need to drop. The other cylindrical ones sound just as good, with better battery life, and better light-show, and are also taller, and cost much less.

Does not get very loud. Will be ok for a small room but not for outside or large room.

Sound is great!! Just as good as the JBL pulse without the price....
