Flavor hasn't changed. Great as always
Taste great, worth the price at 20 or lower if you see it on here verses buying little bags which will cost more in the long run

These are relatively spicy but they have a great crunch and are messy!
These are crunchy and spicy and after you open the bag even if you close it with a closure thingy, it the fries get hotter. If you like hot stuff, these are a real treat!

Really good usually
These things are great, I limit myself to a plate full so I don't devour a whole bag, but I bought this box several times. They are not very consistent so every box is a bit different. The last box was perfect, big fat fries and really spicy, the box before that was shoe string style (not easy to eat). This box is extra mild so I don't think the guys making these are extra careful to follow the same routine. Never had stale and never found foreign objects but I'll probably stop buying them because I never know what's in the bag. You can't just throw these things together willy nilly and expect to keep customers happy. If they ever get these problems figured out I'll be back.

Love the food, hate the packaging on this and every other kind of chip.
I won't blame the food for the way it was packaged and traveled. These "hot fries" are a wonderfully flavorful, unabashedly hot-flavored delight on the tongue if you can stand the flames. My vote is five stars even though I'm about to complain about it. These fries suffered the same fate of any packaged "chip" product in shipping, it got banged around and fractured into a lot of little pieces and the coating formed a pretty thick dust at the bottom of the bag making the bottom fourth of the chips nearly inedible. Thing is, I have this problem with most chips I buy at the grocery store, you get a lot of small bits that are like eating flavored gravel and any topping that has sifted down into the bottom is like dirt mixed in. So while I love this product and will continue to buy it, probably at Amazon, I'll stick to the smaller bags and maybe I need to run the contents through a colander and shake it vigorously? There has GOT to be a better way to get these wonderful nibbles from the bakery to my table than dumping them into a large bag loosely and then shaking them hard all the way from one to the other.

Tasty but OILY
I remember eating Andy Capp's many years ago, I remember them as being really tasty, so I decided to buy a 48 count box of these Andy Capp's hot fries. I might have eaten the cheddar version in the past, and these hot version are tasty, at least for the first 5 bites, but there is an issue. I think they tried to make this snack too tasty and sort of ruined the snack. This is a corn and potato snack which is baked. Everyone knows how corn pops into popcorn, and when baked, the corn puffs up and results in a crunchy snack in the shape of a fry, this is where the problem comes in. The main purpose of baking snacks compared to frying the snack, is so that the snack is less oily. Not with Andy Capp's, to maximize the crunchiness, they spray this snack with too much oil before baking, which results in a snack that is slightly more oily than other snack foods. I love spicy foods, and all too often foods spiced with jalapenos or chilies, end up being over spiced, this is sadly the case with this Andy Capp's hot fries. Eating a single .85 ounce bag of this snack, causes my nose to run like crazy, it is not the most desirable after effect. This runny nose situation does happen with spicy foods, but when this much of a runny nose occurs, it is a sign of a product that has too much spiciness added. If this product was not overly sprayed with oil and was not overly spicy, it would be a tastier and healthier snack. If you like really hot foods and don't mind snacks that are too oily, then this might be a snack you can handle. As of the time of writing this review, Sam's Club does not carry the cheddar version of Andy Capp's fries. I would probably eat the cheddar version every so often, but the hot version is just too hot for my preference.

(¯﹃¯*) ԅ(♡﹃♡ ԅ ) So goooood (*' ﹃`) (。・ ρ ・)
These are sooooo delicious and at such a superb price. I got these for almost a dollar a bag after a coupon but even at almost a dollar fifty these are a great value. These are super crunchy and tasty. The consistency and taste are quite unique. If you're wondering if they are like hot Cheetos fries they are not. Hot cheetos fries are more soft, these are like condensed airy crunchy if that makes any sense and hot cheetos fries are cloud crunchy. The taste is also completely difderent from hot Cheetos fries. Both are delicious in their own right.

Pure, Delicious Nostalgia
I grew up eating Andy Kapp’s Hot Fries. In my adult life, these are coming harder and harder to come by, so when I found these on Amazon, well… 8 bags seemed appropriate. The fries have a little tingle, but isn’t overly spicy at all, and are light and crunchy since they are baked and not fried. 8 of the 8 ounce bags for $16-$20 (price fluctuates a little on here) is a fantastic deal, and half the price per bag vs when I can find them in a store. Just be warned, you may go through an entire bag in a single sitting.
