Excellent, Sturdy Night Stand
I'm very happy with this night stand. It was very easy to assemble and it comes out looking great. The materials used are all high quality, especially for the price point that this falls into, and feels very sturdy. It has ample storage space for the various things we keep near our bed and it is easy to run power cords through the back of it. We use the Sauder Shoal Creek Dresser, Jamocha Wood Finish in our bedroom as well and this night stand matches it perfectly. The color and leg styles fit right in. This is your typical easy-to-assemble home furniture that you see from many other manufacturers. All of the holes are drilled and it comes with a hardware package containing all of the screws and assembly materials. We did have to provide our own tools, though. The materials used are the typical laminated particle boards, but it all feels like it could withstand most day to day use and moving around. The hinges and magnetic door clasp work great, causing the door to feel securely shut. The color is closer to black that the Sauder Jamocha that I linked above, but it is still nice and doesn't look fake or tacky. So far, I haven't noticed any scratches to the paint, so I feel it is standing up pretty well to having multiple different kinds of materials on it, including metal. I do recommend this product if you're looking for a cheap and easy solution for a nice looking night stand. I would definitely purchase this one again if I needed another.

Great Stand but shelves are not entirely sturdy but may work for you...
Gave this only 4 stars because with a 500 sheet pack of paper on the inside shelf - the shelf visibly sags so overtime this may be a problem books may even be to heavy unless only one is used. There is no support down the middle of the shelf. Inside there is a shelf too at the bottom it is not adjustable it is the bottom of the inside of the cabinet. However, this piece is attractive in this finish of light tan or whatever it is. A wet glass will show if placed on the top but there is a light coat of shellack or whatever it is known as on the top. The magnetic door latch works fine. Overall it is sturdy the parts have wooden pegs that go into holes and then you use a phillips head screwdriver to put in the wood screws which make it sturdy - a caveman could put this together so it goes together easily. Mine came with the small wooden knobs that one sticks into the holes where the screw went into these are dark and do not match the wood finish of the cabinet so at each corner there is a dark spot on the facing and on the rear but overall who cares. The top is 24.5 inches off the ground and the top is 19 inches wide and 15 inches deep. The open top area inside is 14.5 wide and 12.5 deep. You have 6.5 inches of height in the open top area. The area when you open the cabinet drawer is 13.5 wide the cabinet door narrows this area and the inside is 12 inches deep with the door closed and you have 11.5 inches of height inside the cabinet - this baby sits 2.5 inches off the ground a 500 sheet pack of paper will fit under here barely.

and front/back pieces are quite sturdy. The only real "flimsy" parts are the inner ...
Others have commented on the quality of this furniture - yes, it is a $40 nightstand. You are getting what you're paying for. However, after reading tons of reviews and still deciding to buy, I was surprised with the quality of the product. The top, side, and front/back pieces are quite sturdy. The only real "flimsy" parts are the inner shelves (bottom and middle). I wouldn't put 90lbs on those shelves but they definitely hold items and do what they are supposed to. The nightstands were incredibly easy to put together - in all, it took us about 20 minutes apiece (we bought two). As others mentioned, some of the holes didn't line up quite right but if you screw in with force you'll be fine. We ended up going back and tightening all of the screws twice on both pieces just to be sure they were truly in. Once we did that, both nightstands were really sturdy and are doing well next to our bed now. I am honestly impressed with the quality of this product considering it was only about $40 per piece with tax. I would definitely order them again if I needed them in another room. They're convenient, easy to put together, sturdy, and do a great job as a nice accent for a bedroom.

Great for our need
Why three stars? Bought on a holiday deal. This table is a steal. Would I repurchase for full price, nope. It works great in the catio. Does not need to be more than what it is. Would have given four stars. Due to the install. I’m versed in woodworking, with screws, etc. Was able to figure out how to ensure the screws went in properly. For a non versed tool person, based on reviews read, you might have a problem screwing things together. You’ll have to fudge with the dowels poking out and to align the screws. I had to unscrew one side then realign to make it work. Suggestion, try screwing in the screw half way. Light up the dowel nub. Screw the other side in half way. Then finish both sides. This would be at the top which is flipped upside down for the install. This challenges me a little. And, needed a small hammer as a large one would be awkward, to tap in the shelf supports for the cubby under the table. The interior base board is not properly cut to fit. Or they gave me the wrong insert. As the top board has a cut in both corners in the back. Making for a snug perfect fit. The bottom shelf inside the door sucks. It is not a fit. There’s a space or gap between the shelf and door. Because it’s not resting square with no built in ledge bows down in the middle with items on the shelf. The door also dented the shelf on the hing side. Because the shelf sticks up above the ledge. When the door opens and closes it pokes the base board because it’s not resting properly bows. It should be below the frame. Resting on a ledge that doesn’t exist. To add strength and prevent this bend. For the daily deal price and overall functionality am keeping the table. But wanna be fair in the review rating to help others know if they purchase this won’t get an I K E A perfect build.

perfect for what I needed it for
I have a new house, and in this house I have 2 weight rooms, one of which has the treadmill, exercise bike and other equipment. Not too much fun walking, riding etc without any entertainment, so I bought a flat screen off Amazon and hung it on the wall. I also have a blu-Ray player, and because the cords to the TV were slightly too short, I needed a small table, and thought I might as well get one I can store DVDs and stuff. I searched literally dozens of other tables, on line and at the store, but this was just perfect. It has an open shelf unit I put the DVD cases in, and a lower enclosed area for anything else. The player sits on top. The door opens smoothly, does not bind, and the whole thing went together in about 1/2 an hour or so. I was a little surprised at the sequence of assembly, but everything went together great. This is not an expensive unit, but not cheap either. Still, I find it to be very sturdy, it looks great, and appears to be able to last many, many years. I have seen some reviews saying it is a piece of crap, but there are some that also love to give bad reviews no matter what. I try to be as honest as I can. So, would I buy it again? You betcha I would.

Very Poor Quality
The sides are just clapboard, as is the shelf and the base so I definitely wouldn't recommend putting anything heavier than a newspaper on the shelf or in the cupboard. I wouldn't even send my kid off to his college dorm with this. The top itself though is the sturdiest part, which makes it quite a bit top heavy which in turn is putting a lot of stress on the rest of the unit which means that this is all going to warp over time. It also doesn't fit together all that tightly, so it's all wobbly, and the inner shelf doesn't even fit the unit entirely so anything you put in there has the potential to get stuck or fall through, depending on whatever it is. Considering the main reason as to why I bought this particular unit was because I really wanted an inner shelf and a little cabinet to hide things away in as I don't like clutter on table tops, all in all, this is pretty much useless for me. BONUS: It did NOT come with instructions. Nor tell you what tools you might need, so if you don't really know what you're doing or have little experience in putting furniture together, then this definitely would NOT be "easy assembly". I have sufficient carpentry knowledge and experience and I still wouldn't consider this easy assembly as I would have had a much easier job simply building something myself. The amount of time it took to put this piece of clapboard together was probably not that much less time than had I done it all myself. If I didn't live in an apartment and had access to somewhere with tools, that's definitely the way I would have gone. Anyway, if you do still decide on giving this thing a try, A Philips head screw driver will be needed, possibly a hammer or mallet as the little wooden pegs that are meant to hide the screws really didn't want to fit the holes, and possibly a drill bit as I also had some issues with a couple of the screw holes being not quite positioned right so I had to drill new ones. I have tried to include pictures, but as the unit is black it's not the easiest to see. I couldn't take a picture of my phone with my phone to show, but my iPhone 14 (with bumper case) slips right through the back crack. Any thinner books or magazines or smaller things like pens, chap stick, etc will definitely fall right through. It just isn't worth the hassle after all of that tearing it apart to send it back to get my money back.

Excellent Table, Marginal Build Quality
I ordered two for speaker tables. Assembled in about 20 minutes each. One of the placing cogs on the top, for the rear panel, was bent over and it shattered when I tried to bend it up so that it would insert into the back piece for assembly. But, the holding screw was sufficient for assembly. Another screw split the wood slightly, but the screw was tight and the crack was not visible. The screws have sheetrock screw threads, not wood screw threads, and the turning resistance of the screws in the wood is variable. One screw in each table showed no noticeable increase in resistance when it bottomed, but in each case the overall strength was still good. A few screws showed enormous resistance to being screwed down enough to secure the back or front panel; I suppose that the countersink was not deep enough. The dowels that conceal the screws show varying resistance to insertion. Most would tap in flush with the surface with the top of a plastic screwdriver. One, on the top right of the rear of one table, would not tap in sufficiently to stay in place and may need to be glued in place, but it is in the back. The screws are black and well countersunk when tightened properly so the dowels are not critical, particularly in the rear. For these minor assembly quality glitches, I took off one star. The finished product is as pictured, and is easily strong enough to support my huge 1969-model Bose 901 speakers - these are all-wood construction and are heavier than the ones on sale today, but under 50 pounds each. The assembly looks good. My wife thinks I should have taken the natural finish but in a darkened room I believe that the black finish is best for use as speaker stands, and she agreed that they were acceptable as such to her very critical eye. The instructions have a form for request of replacement parts. If I had been patient, I could have asked for, and very likely have gotten free replacements for, the pieces with the broken dowel and split screw hole foundation. But I felt that this was minor for the intended use of the tables and decided not to insist on replacement parts, and I had my speaker stands completed and in-place in about an hour. I would recommend these tables for others, but use caution in assembly. Some of the screw foundations show little resistance, so you must use a hand screwdriver to insert all screws to the point that final tightening requires more leverage; in a couple of cases, that will not happen at all. I several instances, you will need to dial up the torque on your electric screwdriver to tighten down a part. Be sensitive to this because these coarse-thread screws can strip easily. You may choose to replace the screws with finer-thread wood screws.

Buen mueble

though not perfect. The table looks very good and is light ...
Higher quality than I expected, though not perfect. The table looks very good and is light but sturdy, however when assembling it I found the fit and finish was less than perfect, though it is barely noticeable when assembled. The shelves are not as sturdy as I had hoped they would be , and would probably not hold more than about 20 pounds.

Excelente
