I emailed the vendor, Jeff, to see if there was ANY way he could expedite shipping for the product to arrive within 8 days for his birthday, as the delivery window Amazon sent me was insane (up to a month!) . Jeff got back to me within an hour, said no problem and shipped it out an hour later. So impressed! It arrived four business days later. The assembly was pretty easy (I did it myself and I am not usually awesome at following IKEA type directions), and my husband loves the stand.
