I repaired a nylon parka with it last week. It was easy to apply and stuck tight. **Q: Do you think this would work to put on the inside of my running shoes to patch a hole in the mesh where my big toe pushes through?** A: It may work if you placed one piece inside and another on the outside allowing the two pieces to "weld" the hole in your shoe. **Q: It sounds like this will work great for a tear in my nylon down jacket. Can it be dry cleaned, though? The jacket is dry clean only.** A: Not sure about a dry clean only jacket. It worked wonderfully on the small tear in my down jacket. **Q: Would this seal a hole in the liner cloth on the back of the heel in my walking shoes?
