I was genuinely surprised by how well this kit worked. My headlights were heavily oxidized and cloudy, making the car look older and reducing visibility at night. The instructions were easy to follow, and the entire process took less than an hour. The before-and-after difference was dramatic. The lenses went from yellowed and hazy to clear and bright, as shown in my photos. The kit included everything I needed, and the results looked professional without having to pay for a costly restoration service. I used this on my vehicle yesterday, and it did everything it promised as advertised. My headlights look brand new and are crystal clear. There’s something satisfying about being able to take care of your own vehicle, and this made the process incredibly easy. It didn’t take much time, other than requiring a little elbow grease. I’m very pleased with this product because of the quality, effectiveness, and especially the ease of use. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and the results were absolutely worth the effort. One piece of advice: wear the gloves when applying the final step. Other than that, follow the instructions, put in a little elbow grease, and enjoy your crystal-clear headlights!

This might be the easiest headlight repair kit I've ever used. No tools required, everything you need is in the box. Each headlight took about 20 minutes and came out looking great. My Mini Cooper looks like new. My daughter's Saturn Vue looks much better: not like new, but a 90% improvement. I was thrilled with the final appearance of both vehicle and will definitely buy this kit again. I highly recommend!

I knew going in that my expectations shouldn't be very high because my car is a first generation 2010 Kia Soul. So its old with 16 plus years of yellowing oxidation and some abrasion. I took a chance with doing this because of the reviews and pictures. To my surprise, it worked better than I anticipated and could hope for. My driver side(left) headlight was horrible but my passenger side(right) wasn't too shabby and didn't require as much care. This would have turned out better if I had power drill attachments of the same sanding grit to do this. My arm is going to be really sore come Sunday. 😆 It wasn't too hard to follow the instructions as they were very simple for the application process. I don't know about the 2 years for it lasting, but for now, its durable. Once I drive at night, I'll be able to But all in all, it worked for me and its better than before I tackled it. All in all it looks good, I feel like I'll have a better beam when night 🌙 driving.

In short: this kit is reasonably cost effective as an add-on to the more expensive restoration kits (that do not include UV coating wipes). It may be good enough for plastic lenses that are starting to fade or have no deep scratches, as the sanding materials start at a relatively high grit. One word of caution - the UV wipes seem to dry quickly which can leave some streaks on the last light you wipe. I have found it is easier to complete both lights when the lenses are cool/at ambient temperature. In greater detail: I have had success removing light scratches and moderate oxidation (yellow tint) from older plastic lights by sanding in stages of 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 (wet), 3000 (wet), followed by a stage of rubbing compound, then the UV protectant wipes from this kit. As this process is only applied to the outside of the lenses, it may not result in a fully restored/clear lights in every situation. However, it certainly improved my night time visibility without incurring the costs of new/replacement headlights. It can take a little while to finish all these steps even though they are easy to do. Using just the contents of this kit could reasonably take 40 minutes (each wipe cycle has a 15 minute curing period). The results of doing this in a hurry may not match the pretty example on the box.

I figured this was cheaper than spending $100 on a new headlight assembly to get my headlights to match again. My car was hit and the driver side was replaced, leaving the 10 year old original headlight looking cloudy and out of place. I spent about 45 minutes working with this product and the plastic looks so much better! It might not be perfect, but it’s a huge improvement. I will be getting one to do my husband’s car for him next (will update on both cars when that happens). Photos are before/after/the other headlight for comparison.

At under $10, I wouldn't say this is a poor value, but it isn't the be-all end-all solution that many reviews would indicate. The level of UV damage and yellowing that can be corrected with the various available kits is a bit subjective, but I would consider the lenses I had as moderate yellowing. I wasn't getting the result I had hoped for on the first lens, so resorted to some 1500, 2000, and 3000 wet/dry sandpaper for the other - and as one would expect with an extra intermediate grit, it was better... but considering that this is only a temporary solution that you'll need to repeat every year or so, I'd just buy the sandpaper (plenty of sheets for other uses and subsequent lens treatments). The pads in this kit deteriorated a bit quicker than I would have expected, so only good for one time. Again, perfectly sufficient for a one-time, short-term fix, under $10... but had admittedly hoped for some 3M magic on the grit or compound. Three stars is not bad. It's just "meh." Should have just started with the sandpaper.

Worked great for my headlights on my 2010 Rav4, which were yellow and cloudy. This was very easy to use and probably took me less than a half hour total for both headlights. Now both of my headlights are clean and clear! I didn’t use masking tape or a spray bottle (only a water bottle filled with mildly soapy water), so don’t worry about needing extra materials. Paper towels or a house rag work fine for rinsing and washing as well- very DIY friendly. Overall, I’d recommend!

Não é o kit mais completo, melhor procurar pelo completo caso o farol esteja muito fosco, como o meu não estava tanto, serviu ao propósito, eu tinha lixas que haviam sobrado do outro kit que tinha comprado antes, então foi o suficiente.

My headlights had patches of haziness and medium-deep scratches. The instructions to the headlight restoration kit were simple to follow and the whole process took about 30 mins. The headlights look brand new after. Highly recommended!
