I messed up at first
It will not fit if you have a backstrap that runs down the length of the grip like mine did

Improve firearm finish appearance
Yes, these are purely aesthetic, but make the firearm look more “finished.” They fit great, and securely lock into place.

Good for what is for
Fits in gen 5 fine. The size is a bit off so there will be a 1/16 step between the grip and the plug. I tried few reloads and it’s not big enough to get the mags stuck. It’s a 4 star for its price and the imperfection fit.

Simple Fix for Reloads...
The Glock 19/17 plug works exactly as it should (the 43X plug does NOT). It snaps into the space at the rear of the magwell. The ONLY CAVEAT is that you cannot install the thicker backstraps that come OEM with a Glock. You snap it in and it works. It smooths out reloads by eliminating the plastic post edge that catches on the cartridge base ring of ammunition in a magazine. The best $6.99 you can spend on a Glock.
