I was torn between this product and the Costar Bluetooth kit. I chose this one based on price. I figured I would return it if it didn't work right. The install took a little longer that expected because I wanted everything run perfectly. I cut a 3/4 inch hole in the front dash on my 2005 Suburban in the open space next to the traction control button. It looks like a factor usb for the aux input. Next I opened the dash and began working with the wiring harness. As others have said, there is a lot of extra wires that really aren't needed, but since I have installed other products in the past with too little length on the wires, I had rather deal with stashing wires as opposed to having no room to work.The install took me about 1.5 hours and so far it works perfect. For those that are confused, this product does disable your XM radio. It provides you with bluetooth phone connection and bluetooth audio connection as long as you are using the "band" for what used to be your XM radio.The sound quality is perfect for me. No engine noise at all. So far everyone has told me that it sounds great on the other end of the phone conversation.I recommend the product and would buy it again. ### ⭐⭐ 2.0 out of 5 stars I had two of these go bad on my truck *by R***V on Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2015* So far this has worked great except for the aux plug (was getting sound out of only 2 speakers). I had been using one of those plug in the cig lighter bluetooth adaptors that worked through the FM radio I could play music from my Phone and receive calls but the call quality left a little to be desired. With the ISGM655 the calls are very clear and now I am also able to use a USB thumb drive with all of my music on it. Installation was not a fun thing it is a very tight fit but, it will go in .Update: The main unit went bad after about 2 weeks and all my gauges, power windows and door looks ect quit working. Once it disconnected the harness everything worked again. I contacted Replacement Radios and they had me ship back the faulty unit to them to verify it was bad, about a week later it I received a new main box and harness. It took about 15 minutes to install as I knew exactly how to install it after the first time. It has been there about a week and all is well. Hopefully it was just a bad unit and won't happen again.Update: After about a week the same thing happened again.Not sure what is causing it. It may just be something with my radio. I have given up and threw the unit away. Had a Kenwood DPX501BT 2-DIN CD Receiver with Built in Bluetooth installed about 3 weeks ago and I am very happy with it. ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars I got my radio working again but I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who has a chipped truck *by S***S on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2015* They were very fast at shipping the product and I received it right away. Excited to install it I followed the instructions completely step by step and it caused all kinds of electrical problems even deleting the chip I had installed in my truck back to factory. It also caused problems with my radio. It said it was supposed to take over the xm radio. Well...that didn't happen. In fact when I finally made any kind of progress with getting it to connect with my phone it started flashing a weird GM code on the radio and had somehow deleted the xm from my radio completely. That's when I finally called it quits and took it back out of my truck.
