They have superheros at the beginning and they feature randomly. They would be better in colour as they look like they have fantastic outfits but it's all black and white printing. However, it is a useful, no. nonsense book that is a very useful addition. Review: So this is honestly a great start for really anyone having trouble with the basics of Common Core, it's really helped me understand it at it's most primitive level! I know a lot of people have been complaining about the standard change, but this helps take the mystery away a bit. That said... Problem is some of the questions asked about colors and the pictures are in black and white more like grayish... I feel like it was poorly made due to laziness or cheapness.
