I do know it works with other operating systems as well as I use it with a windows 7 pc that has the software my dv camera uses. No messing around with drivers etc. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked Straight Out Of The Box *by A***R on 15 March 2023* Cheaper cards are available but I was wary of their potential quality so went for this slightly more expensive StarTech. I did not need any drivers or fiddle with settings with this card. I just plugged it in and Windows 10 recognised it immediately. I bought the card so I could use the old but still readily available (and free) WinDV program to capture video from an old DV camcorder. Everything is working. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Easy installation *by R***. on 6 October 2024* Bought a second hand one for £10 cheaper. Only the packaging was a bit damaged but works perfectly. Plugged into the slot on the motherboard and picked up nicely by Windows 11.
